Erasure Touring Interview
I'm not really sure what this is!. It's a cassette in a plain Mute sleeve, with the title "Erasure Touring Interview 'Live 96'". I recognise the interview as the one from the Cowboy IPK. Something else unusual is that you don't hear any questions...just the answers!...rather like the promo interview CDs ERASSAY 1,2 and 3. But at least you get a question booklet with the CDs!. So whether this is something that was meant to stay inside Mute Records for their reference, or whether it was sent out to radio stations, I don't know. But definitely the most obscure item on these rarity pages.
Magic Moments
Maverick, Erasure's US record company, were
to release Magic Moments (originally recorded in 1995
for the Lord Of Illusions soundtrack) as the third single from
Cowboy. Then, for unknown reasons, they
changed their mind, but not before these promo Cds had been made to
send out to radio stations and the press
